The Secret To Mastering Spiritual Warfare: Armor Of God

Picture of spiritual warfare is looked at in the Book of Revelation when in the book we see War in Heaven (Rev. 12:7), the beasts and kings of the earth wage war against God’s people (Rev. 19:19), and a final battle ensues with satan and the nations of the earth against God Himself (Rev. 20:8).

The real armor used was a protective covering to prevent damage from being inflicted on an individual by direct contact weapons or projectiles, usually during combat, or from damage caused by a potentially dangerous environment. The armor of God in the Bible is a metaphor for Christians (Ephesians 6:10-18) showing the spiritual battle and the protection we have available to us.

Romans 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

This Spiritual battle is us against any forces of darkness. The three enemies of the soul in our spiritual warfare are our flesh(sensual-carnal) evil within this earth(worldly), and the evil one(devil) the last two are without which are opposed and very hostile to God. This evil age that we are in has its thoughts seeping into our minds and hearts in little ways, so we need discernment. God gives us great weapons against accusations or temptations. One is the Word of God, it lets us know who God is and truth. The lovely Holy Spirit will bring God’s truth to our minds when it is needed.

We can have victory over satan’s schemes (deceit and lies) by filling our minds with the truth of the Bible. The devil, demons are real constantly seeking to accuse, temptation and deception to bother you in your interactions, hiding

working to undermine with confusion, they work to undermine what God is doing through us but don’t live in fear. Enemy means: adversary, opponent or accuser that’s how he attacks you he also schemes which means he makes a strategy of attacks one after another.

The enemy can’t possess us or snatch us from Jesus but he wants to damage the relationship we have with God and lies continually. We do have authority over him in Christ even though he is stronger. We are called to be God’s holy people and to be separate for Him… and we should ask God for His wisdom. Specific passages describe the spiritual nature of these battles and help us understand how we experience them practically.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

  • 2 Thessalonians 3:3

“But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

What does it mean to submit to God and resist the devil?

It is said, To submit to God is in itself resisting the devil when we align our lives with God’s will, the answer is a growing resistance to devils temptations and he will lose his foothold and has to flee. To think we can do it in our own strength is ridiculous we must resist humbly our lives and submit to God.

  • 2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Submitting to God means elevating His Word above our own desires, yielding ourselves to Gods revealed will in the Scriptures, and desperately calling to Him in prayer to ask for grace to help in time of need in zealous pursuit of God and the presence of God.

  • James 4:7

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

  • Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

  • 1 Peter 5:6-7

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

One thing is to resist the devil firm in your faith important in your battling and be calm and collected in attack and be aware.leo-animal-savannah-lioness-55814 (1)

  • 1 Peter 5:8-9

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”

Who is it that overcame but Christ are you trusting that He overcame the world.

  • John 16:33

“I [Jesus] have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. We conquer through Christ ask Him to help you conquer every day through trials.

  • Romans 8:37-39

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

But as with most things, they start with a thought and we should take our thoughts captive which produces feelings and this will stop it before it even gets started. God wants you to trust Him when you face those fiery darts.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Get rid of those thoughts from satan and place your faith in God’s Word and Him alone. Other attacks can be demonic spiritual and religious experiences you need to be careful of those. There is no doubt that demons oppress and tempt believers, and there are some states of mind that are fertile ground for temptation (Matthew 6:13; 1 Corinthians 7:5; Galatians 6:1). The Charismatic movement, with its emphasis on dreams and visions, feelings and experiences, and new revelation, is one form of Christian mysticism.

Because we have Gods completed Word, we are not to seek after dreams and visions or extra revelation from God. While it is possible for God to reveal Himself in dreams and visions today, we should beware of the subjective nature of feelings and spiritual impressions. It is vital to remember that anything Christian experiences must line up with the truth of the Bible. God will not contradict Himself. He is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). But there is no evidence to suggest that we are in any way bound by demons or rendered helpless in spiritual warfare.

satan is also a spirit and does his evil work by attacking our minds (James 3:14-15), our bodies (Luke 9:42; 2 Corinthians 12:7), and our spirits (Matthew 16:23; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5).  There is an unseen battle taking place around us every moment between Gods holy angels and the forces of darkness (Daniel 10:12-14; Ephesians 6:10-17; Jude 1:9).

If we are vigilant as the Lord commands, we will not be caught unprepared by satans attacks (1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 2:11). And we have the promise of God that His Holy Spirit is stronger than any of satans schemes (1 John 4:4). But don’t give him footholds to attack you when you sin pornography for example. God has given His children everything we need to stand firm against any spiritual attack of our enemy.

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7

The apostle Paul calls this the “armor of God” (Ephesians 6:11). Some people blame every sin, every conflict, and every problem on demons they believe need to be cast out. The apostle Paul instructs Christians to wage war against the sin in themselves (Romans 6) and to wage war against the evil one (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Ministries that focus wholly on breaking demonic bondage often misapply biblical texts to support their teachings. Religion can easily turn into a type of spiritual bondage when we allow our fears of hell, judgment, or demonic activity to control us.

When we adopt a religious mindset that says, If I don’t perform such and such a ritual, there will be bad consequences. This is not biblical truth. Some have delved into an exploration of the spirit world to their own destruction. pexels-photo-226746

We are to stand firm with the belt of truth, buckle on the breastplate of righteousness, wear on our feet the gospel of peace, hold up the shield of faith, wear the helmet of salvation, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God the only offensive weapon in the whole armory.

The rest are defensive. What do these pieces of spiritual armor represent in spiritual warfare? We are to speak the truth against satans lies (fiery darts). We are to rest in the fact that we are declared righteous because of Christs sacrifice for us. We are to proclaim the gospel no matter how much resistance we receive. We are not to waver in our faith, no matter how fiercely we are attacked.

Our ultimate defense is the assurance (faith) we have of our salvation, an assurance that no spiritual force can take away. Our offensive weapon is the Word of God, not our own opinions and feelings.

Finally, we are to follow Jesus example in recognizing that some spiritual victories are only possible through prayer. Observe how Jesus handled direct attacks from satan when He was tempted by him in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11).Each temptation was answered the same way with the words It is written and a quote from the Scriptures. Jesus knew the Word of the living God is the most powerful weapon against the temptations of the devil. If Jesus Himself used the Word to counter the devil, do we dare to use anything less?

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Prayer is supremely important as we battle by the Spirit

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Fight the battle praising God: Praise the Lord with joy and rejoicing

James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. 2 chronicles 20:19

At Last, The Secret To MOUNT ARARAT, NOAH’S ARK Is Revealed

This Genesis account of the Flood which you will read below along with many really interesting facts which you probably don’t know. I hope will get you to think about the reliability of the wonderful truth Genesis 1-11 you will find in God’s Word and think more as history as rather than a fable.

Mount Ararat

is a snow-capped and dormant compound stratovolcano also called Agri Mountain in the extreme east of Turkey. It consists of two major volcanic cones: Greater Ararat and Little Ararat.Closeup_of_large_peak_of_Mount_Ararat

Greater Ararat is the highest peak in Turkey and the Armenian Highland with an elevation of 5,137 m (16,854 ft); Little Ararat’s elevation is 3,896 m (12,782 ft). The Ararat massif is about 35 km (22 mi) wide at the ground base.

The first efforts to reach Ararat’s summit  were made in the Middle Ages, and Friedrich Parrot, Khachatur Abovian, and four others made the first recorded ascent in 1829.The mountain has been called by the name Ararat since the Middle Ages, as it began to be identified with “Mountains of Ararat” (Region) described in the Bible as the resting place of Noah’s Ark, despite the contention that Genesis 8:4 does not refer specifically to Mt. Ararat itself but the mountains of Ararat. So could be on a different mountain in the area.

And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. Genesis 8:4

The mountain250px-Coat_of_arms_of_Armenia.svg (1)

is the principal national symbol of Armenia and has been considered a sacred mountain by Armenians. It is featured prominently in Armenian literature and art and is well known in the area. It is depicted on the Coat of Arms of Armenia along with a picture of Noah’s Ark.

So there was wickedness upon the earth

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5-8 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heartAnd the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Accordingly, Noah’s instructions are given to him by God (Genesis 6:14–16): the Ark is to be 300 cubits long-450 feet, 50 cubits wide-75 feet, and 30 cubits high-45 feet about 1 1/2 a football field long. The shorter unit – a common cubit – was based on the forearm length from the tip of the middle finger to the bottom of the elbow.

But, the length of this cubit for the Ark is unknown but close to estimates above. The volume could hold 522 railway cars. Which is gigantic and will hold dinosaurs and many animals, food, and water plenty to get by and not all species that are here today had to be on it. You could have the younger animals and dragons (dinosaurs) not full-grown on it. There is a lot of evidence dinosaurs lived after the Flood of  World (c 2500 BC) but were hunted and are extinct from that and other reasons.

Genesis 6:12–16 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits

A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Many say the flood was local: But

Why would Noah build an Ark for 75 years at the most? If this was just a local flood like many people say then he didn’t have to build an Ark. He could travel to another place where there was not a flood-like anyone else would do.

Why would God have to bring two of e…very land-breathing creature to the Ark? If there was a local flood they would be safe where they were and just be relocated to a different area.

The answers to the above questions have no logical sense when we try to interpret the Genesis Flood as a local flood like many has said.

If we interpret the Genesis Flood to be a local flood, then God’s everlasting covenant is meaningless because we have many devastating local floods throughout the world and they do not wipe out all the animals.

The only interpretation that is consistent with God’s everlasting covenant is that it was a worldwide Flood. Since the fossil records have proven that it was worldwide. What then is my point! I am pointing to the fact that the flood was real.

Genesis 6:17-19 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

The evidence is overwhelming

When you look at all the fossils of fish and other saltwater animals from the ocean found up in the mountains.

For example:

Scientists find fossils of whales and different marine animals in the mountains amongst the sediments up in the high mountainous area 5,000 feet in the South American, Andes. Why Are There Fish Fossils High Up In The Himalayas?

By Mishana Khot • 29 June 2018 • TWC India

I have summarized the wording so not to plagiarize

The Awesome Himalayas is the ‘The Roof of the World’, has a giant height, can’t be seen through the clouds when not clear outside. It has some of the highest peaks in the world also Mount Everest, the high mountain 29,029 feet one of the greatest in the world. At these altitudes, the air is thin, and the temperatures are extreme.

The looks are like it hasn’t moved since the early beginning of the world. The mountains are miles even hundreds of miles away from the sea. They want to know how marine fossils are being found in locations in the mountains of the Himalayas?

at the conclusion of the article:

It Says the top of the world of the high mountains was definitely under a deep ocean!

Flood legend example:

There is the Babylonian flood tablet

This describes how to make an ark which is in the British Museum. In 1872 there was an assistant named George Smith, He discovered the story of the flood which amazed the world – which obviously came from the Bible Book of Genesis – on the tablet which was cuneiform was made out of clay which was excavated in Nineveh (Which is in Iraq).

According to the discovery, they had their false god from Babylon to get rid of man by death in the water, like the Bible, which was copied from. The survival of everything was saved by a man.

The flood stories have a lot of details that are the same in the Bible flood story in Genesis. It gives details of building round ark, the animals going into the ark on a mountain, and sending out a bird to see if waters had gone down. The Babylonian flood stories have been related to Bible flood but are not totally accurate to the Bible reality.

Final Points about real past

  • The ocean waters were deep so to cover all the mountains in the earth (even the area on mountains of Ararat) by 15 cubits.
  • God had Noah and his family build a giant Ark He would have told him to move if it was a local flood.
  • Noah was instructed to take birds, animals, on Ark no need in a local flood.
  • The wording for the water (the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened) indicated wide flood
  • All people were destroyed entire world, which would never happen in a local flood.

The Lord caused it to rain on the earth

The People Died

And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. Genesis 7:18-20

This engraving, made from carved sardonyx and gold, features a line of animals on the gangway to Noah’s ark. It is based on a woodcut by the French illustrator Bernard Salomon. From the Walters Art Museum.ption

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days

Genesis 7:23-24

 and then the waters subsided

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;

The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. Genesis 8:1-4

So Noah sends dove to see if waters were off the earth

And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. Genesis 8:11

And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.Genesis 8:12

So God Speaks To Noah

And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. Genesis 8:15-17

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Genesis 9:12-15

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9:16

So man was on the earth once more they had sinned and God had destroyed it

The Genesis Flood was a judgment on the world’s sin and our sin will always bring death. Jesus talked about the Flood and this world makes a mockery at God and His flood.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

People love the baby Jesus but I have to tell you something He will bring judgment on this world. If a person refuses to repent and follow Jesus then that person will face the wrath of God.

Look what happens below ? ?

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37-39

Read below what happens to those who won’t believe Jesus is the Christ and accept His way to save you.

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: And they shall be afraidpangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

  • For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. “The Gospel” The Most Terrifying Truth of Scripture….

The good news of the person and work of Jesus Christ Who He is and what He did in His work. How sins are atoned for and forgiven and how we are made right with God. The coming of the kingdom of God. Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”

Matthew 11:15 “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” This is a call to listen. This is a call to be alert.
